How To Read This

Net per mile is your pay rate minus everything you actually pay out: fuel (after any discount), maintenance & tires, your fixed overhead, and any fees the carrier deducts. The package with the highest net per mile puts the most money in your pocket — even if its sticker rate looks lower.

A package that says "all expenses paid" can win at a low rate because you're not buying fuel. A high per-mile rate can lose once you subtract pump-price fuel with no discount. Run it with your real MPG and today's diesel price for an honest comparison.

Disclaimer: This calculator is for informational and comparison purposes only. Results are estimates based entirely on the numbers you enter and on simplifying assumptions — actual pay, fuel burn, maintenance, deductions, and miles vary load-to-load and week-to-week. Heavier loads burn more fuel and wear equipment faster, so your real MPG and maintenance cost may differ from your inputs. Fuel discounts, surcharges, escrow, and deduction structures differ by carrier and contract. TruckNmore makes no guarantee of accuracy. Always read the full lease/settlement agreement and consult a qualified accountant or business advisor before signing on with any carrier.
